Well, it seemed like a good idea at the time, but it's nearing the end of January and I'm still titting about attempting to complete the 2011 Advent Calendar.
Not that I'm short of things to write about. Rather the opposite in fact, as I'm staring at a list of almost a dozen topics for inclusion and not much time to collect my thoughts.
Add to that the latest of my occasional bouts of apathy and domestic unsettledness, and I'll be lucky if I get it completed by next December.
One good thing to emerge in recent weeks though is the imminent DVD release of two much-anticipated Hammer obscurites, The Scarlet Blade and The Brigand of Kandahar!
Well, I'm chuffed to bits anyway. More when I get round to getting my hands on them.
Next bloody Christmas at this rate....
