Still licking my wounds from the clampdown on filesharing which has left me with quite a few annoyingly half-finished projects on hand.

After a bout of seasonal weather and a bout of clumsiness on my mother's part, my weekend trip to Manchester has been cancelled due to bone breakages.

Not that I particularly wanted to go anyway, it being one of Ms Monoid's inscrutable plans that invariably fall to pieces.
And coinciding with the first substantial snowfall of the winter, I suppose the decision to stay at home was for the best.
Unfortunately, my coping mechanism for weekends at home has been thrown into temporary disarray.
With Friday being probably the worst day of my working life for some time, my usual eagerness to return to work is about as great as my eagerness to endure the domestic chaos, disarray and general sturm und drang generated by others.
Anyway, it will be dark soon, and time for my evening walk in some of the town's less glamorous areas.
Or I might just go and sit in the loft for a bit....
