The first thing to notice about this shot is how utterly bizarre Tom Baker looks in costume without a scarf.
And the second thing to notice is that the concept of rehearsal trousers has come on somewhat since the days of Pertwee's bright red slacks.
Maybe one day we shall discover the particular hue of Michael Kilgarriff's trousers as shown here.
My money's on beige...
